Υδροχόος –Καρκίνος
Στοῦ Ἰούλιου τήν λαύρα,
βγῆκε βόλτα στήν λιακάδα,
Καρκινάκι γεννημένο,
παληκάρι ψωμωμένο.
Μία κοπελιά λιγνή,
μ’ ἀλαβάστρινο κορμί,
τοῦ Γενάρη φέρνει δόξα,
Ὑδροχόου μεγάλη λόξα.
Μιά ματιά, δύο ματιές,
ἄναψαν πολλές φωτιές,
τ’ἄστρα λένε, δέν ταιριάζουν,
μά αὐτοί δέν χαμπαριάζουν.
Φύση καλλιτεχνική,
ζωγραφίζει ἡ μικρή,
μέ παλέττα, μέ καμβάδες,
παίρνει πόζες σέ φυλλάδες.
Διάνοια μηχανικῆς,
λάρτης ἀστροφυσικῆς,
τηλεσκόπειο, κατσαβίδια,
νεανίας μέ βαρίδια.
Φοβερή πολυχρωμία,
Ὑδροχόου τελειομανία,
ὁ Καρκίνος ἄσπρο, μαῦρο,
δαχτυλίδια καί κουμπάρο.
Ὑδροχόος μέ Καρκίνο,
γάμο τέλεσαν μεγάλο,
βγῆκαν λάθος οἱ προβλέψεις,
ἄλλες τοῦ ἔρωτα οἱ ὀρέξεις.

Aquarius – Cancer
The sign of Cancer the boy had,
in warmth of June saluted life,
a lovely Aquarius the girl was,
in icy January saw the world’s first light.
At first sight they fell in love,
so young they were, yet to know,
nothing of that was ever told,
friendship they share as they grow.
The boy left West to explore the world,
through correspondence in touch they stay,
heart afar sings notes of love,
but nothing of that was ever told.
Years gone by before they met,
grown up now, two good old friends,
but heart keeps singing notes of love,
the moment arrived the truth to be told.
Joyful bells one Sunday of May,
a bride Aquarius, a Cancer groom,
vows exchange to live happily married
while heart keeps singing notes of love.
